Athletes are amazing people, really. Athletes dedicate so many hours of their time to train and prepare for competitions and championships all year round. Many times athletes struggle having any sort of social life at all, and at times this can be very frustrating. I think a lot of individuals completely overlook an athlete's life, and don't fully understand the extent they go to in order to put everything they have into a sport they love and still do well competing.
Since athlete's achievements are often through-the-roof impressive, why not get professional photos done to document these amazing achievements that are such a huge part of their life. I have been an athlete pretty much my entire life, dedicating half of my life it seems to sports. One of the biggest regrets I have is not having any professional photos of myself to show my strength as an athletic woman when I was 17 and loving what my life consisted of. I accomplished so much and have many things I am extremely proud of, and nothing to capture my powerfulness as an international athlete in the sport of softball.
Having one photo. One that truly captures a feeling of accomplishment, bravery, strength, power, athleticism, and proudness all together. Wouldn't that be something worth framing and treasuring forever? That photo could go down in family history to show great great grandkids how successful their ancestors were. Photos are memories, they are essentially documentation of a time in your life that you will have forever. As humans, we are constantly changing. Our bodies change with age, our style changes, our hair color and length. What we look like now will have changed ever so slightly in a year from now and looking back, it will only be a memory. Photos are one of the greatest ways to hold on to memories since it isn't just a foggy picture in your head. Photos are real.
To all the athletes out there. You are unreal at what you do. Sports are worth it. You are worth it. Photos are totally worth it.
